Mary Bowden Crowd Funding

Crowd funding can be…

a huge help for a musician looking to back their next project. Whether it’s a recording, a tour, or a brand new instrument, being a successful musician and creating successful bodies of work can become costly. Thanks to the social world we live in, all we have to do is ask…but is that really it?

Today on the podcast we have Yamaha performing artist Mary Bowden. Mary drops some knowledge on her latest Indiegogo campaign for her quintet’s latest recording. Seraph Brass is a powerful ensemble that engages audiences with newly commissioned works and captivating programming. They are recording their first album and decided that crowd funding would be an a great way to fundraise.

Mary talks about some of the pros and cons of crowd funding and gives some great tips about how young musicians can leverage the love of their fans in order to help them with their monetary needs.

To donate to the fund, please visit their Indiegogo campaign and considering donating whatever you can.

With that being said, if you donate $25 or more, two things will happen…

  1. You will be rewarded with a copy of their first album “Asteria”.
  2. If you take a screen shot of your donation and email it info@breakthroughmusic.org, you will receive access to my latest online course “Your Breakthrough Routine”…absolutely free (a $97 value)!

Thank you for listening!
